CANDICE STOREY LEE

Candice Storey Lee is the athletic director at Vanderbilt University.  She oversees the entire department of sports programs at the school and is responsible for the daily operations of the entire program.

She has earned three degrees from Vanderbilt University—her undergraduate degree in human and organizational development, a master’s degree in counseling and a doctorate in higher education administration. 

Also a college athlete, she was the team captain on Vanderbilt’s SEC Championship-winning women’s basketball team.  She is the first female athletic director in Vanderbilt’s history, and she is also the first African-American woman to hold such a position in the history of the SEC!
