WILLIAM SWANN
Director Chief William Swann has been with the Nashville Fire Department for over 25 years. Originally from Virginia, Chief Swann is also a U.S. Army Veteran who served during the Gulf War.
Working closely with Nashville’s elected leaders and within his own department, Chief Swann has placed an emphasis on doing one’s best every day and working your hardest to do right by your family and by your community.
A father himself, Chief Swann has considered education, literacy and hard work to be critical to success!
